Family-owned, neighborhood hybrid coffeehouse & wine/beer bar
13 Years and Counting…
We are a happy, family-owned, community-based coffeehouse that harkens back to the days prior to the corporate coffee takeover. We offer locals and visitors a totally unique-to-Capitola type of coffeehouse set in a comfortable, hip environment in which to socialize, relax, and/or work. We are also one of the first local coffeehouses to offer a wine/beer bar!
What Makes This All Worth It?
When you have an amazing experience, leave satisfied, and can’t wait to return with your family and friends – well, that just makes our day!
Our amazing team of baristas consistently provide our loyal regulars and visitors alike with:
>> Hand-crafted coffee/espresso drinks (made your way!)
>> Teas and Chai
>> Fresh-baked goods (baked onsite daily!)
>> Grab n’ Go snacks (prepared onsite daily!)
>> Small, savory plates (prepared onsite daily!)
>> Local wines
>> Local craft beers (from Discretion Brewery)
>> Smiles, laughter, good music
As a family-owned and -operated business, we think of the people that walk into Zizzo’s not as customers, but as friends. Every single person. Regulars are greeted by name with a warm smile and there is always time for a good conversation or joke to be shared!
“Good Friends, Great Coffee” are more than just words, they’re a way of life.
We can’t wait to see you!

- Les P, CPA “The coffeehouse with the most elegant ambiance and tastiest roast in Santa Cruz County.”
- Michael G, Massage Therapist “My wife and I started coming to Zizzo’s Coffeehouse & Wine bar when it was recommended by our future daughter in-law. We were so delighted by the atmosphere and great coffee that we changed our walking route so that we could get our Zizzo’s fix everyday. Great coffee shop.”
- Maggie B, Nurse “Best mochas in town!”
- Adrienne, Project Coordinator “The service is great here. They are fast but at the same time personable. They know everyone on a name basis. Everyday I come in it’s like I’m visiting friends.”
