Deep red. Pungent redcurrant and cherry aromas are complicated by anise, black pepper and dried rose. Red fruit preserves and bitter cherry on the silky palate, along with a touch of rhubarb. Closes on a tangy note, with gentle tannic grip and a lingering cherry pit quality.
Produced from organically grown, dry-farmed vineyards. Flaco shows the complexity of twice its price. These vines are tended in diverse micro-climates, allowing for more consistency of ripeness year after year. Yields are very low (31 ha/hl average) resulting in wines that showcase extreme quality for its price point.
